The BHS Marching Band is an all-volunteer group whose members have a great love for the marching activity.  They perform at band festivals, home football games, the Bedford Day Parade, and the annual Memorial Day ceremony.  The band has also performed at pep rallies and the other local schools.  Students in the group travel to Maine each August for our sleep away band camp to prepare for the coming season and meet only outside of school hours rehearsing two nights per week during the season.

The volunteer membership takes great pride in what they do and is committed to putting a quality product on the field each season.

LATEST NEWS

****10/14/01-The band had its first MICCA performance of the year at Methuen High School's Nicholson Field. The band received 3 stars (out of a possible 5) in Percussion and Color Guard and 2 stars in Music and Visual Performance.  These ratings earned the band an average of 3 stars for the day's performance.
We have had some difficulty securing rehearsal space in the last few weeks and the band has responded to some tough times by stepping up their performance.  Great JOB!!!! We hope to take it to the next level at Wakefield on Saturday night, October 20.
